Guide
Get the workbench running
Five steps from account to a session log. For purchase questions, see the FAQ.
Step 1
Create an account
Register with a work or university email, accept the terms, and confirm the mailbox. Organization accounts should use the organization name the lab operates under.
Step 2
Install the workbench
Register, then download the Windows workbench when the installer is published. Windows 11 is recommended; Windows 10 is the minimum. macOS and Linux are coming soon. Sign in with the same email. Connect a PC/SC contact or contactless reader and install the vendor driver if the OS does not already see the device.
Step 3
Choose a license
USD 199 unlocks full transaction testing on the workbench. USD 799 adds Java Card personalization from your profiles. A paid license includes ongoing workbench updates. Pay with cryptocurrency; the license activates when payment is confirmed.
Step 4
Run a session
Select the reader. Use Read Contact or Read Contactless. A paid seat continues past records into ODA, GENERATE AC, cryptogram detail, and the host step. Save the log for the lab record. Open, edit, or save .ct profiles when you need a known terminal configuration.
Step 5
Stock cards (issuance license)
With transaction + issuance, put a blank Java Card on the reader and use Issue Test Card. We recommend NXP JCOP J3R180 or J3R452. The workbench personalizes the laboratory application from your profile so every bench can run the same card.
